Journey to Langhe
Your full-day experience will start with luxury driven service pick up to take you on the picturesque journey to historical estate which is a restored castle, located in the heart of the Langhe. Langhe is one of the eleven municipalities of the Barolo, and now a part of the UNESCO Heritage and located within an hour drive from Turin.
Our local expert will meet you at the reception of Barolo winery and will take you on a guided tour where you will see the processes of wine-making and learn all about local grapes’ varietals. After the winery tour you will be invited to have wine tastings with sommelier who will explain you the magic of wine ingredients.
Following your guided wine tastings you will continue in the restaurant’s kitchen where the chef will be waiting for you to start your cooking class and convert your skills into passion for cooking food paired with wine. You will learn how to create delicious Piemontese favorites using fresh, natural, high-quality ingredients. You will discover four typical dishes of the Piedmontese culinary tradition, and learn how to pair wine with food.
Traditional Menu will be a choice of the following four courses of the Piemontese Cuisine from the “entrée to the desster” such as Veal Raw Meet, Barolo Risotto, Moscato Zabajione; Piemontese Pasta such as Ravioli, Tajarin, Risotto, Lasagne; and some of traditional meat choices such as The Piemontese Fassona or Veal.
Following the cooking class you will enjoy your fantastic meal paired with best local wines in the elegant dining room with beautiful decor of the restored castle.
